Two actions in the district court for Hennepin county, consolidated for trial and heard together on appeal, one by Beatryce Greenberg to recover for injuries sustained in an intersection collision between a car, which she was driving, owned by her husband, Jack Greenberg, and one operated by defendant Frank X. Holfeltz and owned by said defendant and defendant LaVerne Holfeltz; and the other by Jack Greenberg to recover consequential damages and for damage to his car. The cases were tried before Levi M. Hall, Judge, and a jury, which returned a verdict for defendants in Mrs. Greenbergs case and one of $60 for Mr. Greenberg. Plaintiffs moved for a new trial and appealed from orders denying their motions, the court having granted the motion in Mr. Greenbergs case for a new trial on the issue of damages to his automobile unless defendants consented to an increase of the verdict to $600, which they did.
